Don’t worry, nobody threw at him. Just before the eighth inning of last night’s Blue Jays-Tigers game, a man urged his six-year-old son to try and fetch a baseball that players were tossing into the crowd. The boy decided to cut through the middle man, charging straight onto the field and grabbing a ball off the pitcher’s mound. Maybe the Blue Jays should have kept him on the mound.

↵Just kidding! The Blue Jays’ pitching staff, while not spectacular, is full of professional, talented, grown men. A little kid would not possibly be strong enough to even throw a ball to the plate, let alone pitch effectively to American League hitting. There are several other reasons why this would not be plausible.
