Jerry Jones Fined Six Figures for Doing What He Does Best: Talking Too Much

No one is immune from the wrath of Roger Goodell. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is the latest to feel the ire, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen:

Jones has been fined at least $100,000 for violating a gag order on labor issues last week when he stated that revenue sharing is "on its way out" while doing a media interview originally intended to support Vikings owner Zygi Wilf's quest for a new stadium.

Jones drew a "six-figure" fine, sources said, as the commissioner distributed a memo Friday to all 32 owners, reminding them that a gag order remains in effect.

So we’re clear : Discussing labor issues -- not allowed. Building a big ass monstrosity of a jumbotron which impedes play -- perfectly cool.
