It’s hard to describe how much of an improvement Jon Gruden is over Tony Kornheiser, but it’s true. This is actually somewhat sad: Gruden is basically your standard meathead football analyst, while Kornheiser had the potential to be the thoughtful nerdy sort that football desperately needs to balance out the testosterone.

↵And yet, Kornheiser was awful, and Gruden fits in so much better. It’s just seamless. I wish this wasn’t true, but it is.
