Eagles Reportedly Bring Back QB Jeff Garcia

On the heels of Donovan McNabb's rib injury suffered on Sunday, the Eagles have reportedly signed QB Jeff Garcia.

In 2006, Garcia started six games at QB in McNabb’s absence, winning five of them. He was released by the Raiders earlier this month.

It was reported earlier on Monday that the Panthers were also interested in Garcia after Jake Delhomme’s five turnover performance on Sunday followed by the placement of back-up QB Josh McCown on IR. Instead, Carolina has signed A.J. Feeley, a different ex-Eagles QB.

For more coverage on the Eagles QB situation, head to Bleeding Green Nation, where they have already welcomed this signing with a nod of approval.
