Vick Moved to Active Roster, Will Practice With Team This Week

The injury to Donovan McNabb may have sped up Michael Vick’s comeback.

According to FOX’s Jay Glazer, the Eagles have cut WR Hank Baskett (better known as Kendra Wilkinson’s husband) to make room for Vick on the active roster. More from Glazer:

[T]he activation of Vick makes sense to help with the team’s practice plans heading into this week’s game against the New Orleans Saints, but also to prepare him for immediate duty once he is eligible to return beginning in Week 3.If McNabb’s broken rib keeps him out for several weeks, and Garcia/Kolb struggle, we could see Vick back in the pocket much sooner than most expected.
