Many fantasy owners were disappointed with the numbers put up by RB Matt Forte of the Chicago Bears this past weekend. Forte had been lumped into the top-tier of fantasy RBs based on his very productive rookie season. So what happened? It’s the grass at Soldier Field!

↵“I’m definitely concerned about it,” Forte said on the “Waddle & Silvy” show on ESPN 1000. “I make a lot of cuts out there, and that’s important being a running back. And [it’s important] to the special teams and every part of the offense and defense.”

↵To be fair, Forte was not actually blaming the field, he was just echoing the thoughts of many of his teammates as the Bears organization re-sods the field for this week’s games. Forte fantasy owners can breath a sigh relief, Forte will be running on a new surface; sadly, Jay Cutler will still be his QB.
