Brewers manager Ken Macha said Friday night that Gallardo was included in the decision-making process and that the 23-year-old will be on a pitch count.
“We have a number in mind, but that can be adjusted,” Macha said.
Gallardo needs three strikeouts for 200 on the season. Don’t be surprised if he gets No. 200 and the Brewers yank their ace to save him for next season.
