Jets Reportedly Would Like to take Brandon Marshall Off Broncos’ Hands

The Jets could desperately use a top tier wide receiver. Brandon Marshall has made it pretty clear he wants no part of Denver. So this report from Newsday makes perfect sense:

The Jets are seriously exploring the possibility of trading for Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall, according to a league source familiar with the Jets' situation. [...]

It is believed the Broncos would want a first-round draft pick in any deal for Marshall, but it is unlikely the Jets would pay that high a price.

First rounder for Marshall? Yeah, that’s way too much. Although the Broncos did manage to fleece the Bears in that Cutler deal, in which they received two first round picks and a third. Oh, and Kyle Orton. They got him too.
