Everyone has heard Major League Baseball’s legal disclaimer: “Any rebroadcast, retransmission, or account of this game, without the express written consent of Major League Baseball, is prohibited.” Consumerist’s Phil Villerreal wanted to talk about a baseball game with his friend, so he contacted the league and asked for permission. The results are pretty funny. What isn’t funny is that I have just shared an account of a guy sharing an account of him attempting to share an account of a game without express written consent of Major League Baseball. By reading this, you have incriminated yourself, and you are going to go to jail. Sorry.
