For Now, Rampage Jackson Is BA Baracus Again. Probably.

Last month, Rampage Jackson was reportedly cast as BA Baracus, the role made famous by Mr. T, in the upcoming movie adaptation of the ‘80s TV series “The A Team”. That is, until he wasn’t.
↵
↵Now, the pendulum has swung back to “yes, he is actually cast”, at least so The Sun reports. The only issue is that Jackson is still under contract to fight Rashad Evans Dec. 12 in his hometown of Memphis.
↵
↵However, the tabloid reports that a deal is close to being struck that would release Jackson from his contract for the Evans fight. In the place of Jackson-Evans headlining at UFC 107 would be B.J. Penn defending his lightweight title against Diego Sanchez.
↵
↵Taking a quick glance at the IMDB page for the movie, which is slated for a 2010 release, rappers Common and The Game have also been rumored to have been considered for the role, so apparently filmmakers are really striving for a midlevel celebrity with absolutely zero acting chops. They seem to be on the right path.
