Every team has a Jeff Blauser. You know, that one player that we love to hate for his mediocrity. In Oakland, Scott Hairston is that man. Entering Sunday’s game, he was hitting .235 in 47 games, but during Sunday’s game, he hit a grand slam that ended up winning the game for the Athletics. He finally came through. Actually, come to think of it, maybe he’s not like Jeff Blauser at all.
