As you might recall, the Mets’ Jeff Francoeur famously hit into an unassisted triple play last month. Well, on Sunday he again gave the baseball equivalent of the alley-oop, this time to Cubs shortstop Andres Blanco. Sure, it wasn’t a triple play, but Blanco dove for the ball and then gunned it to first while sitting/rolling. The video is here, and it should be seen.
