Aaron Rodgers’ Concussion May Keep Him Out Week 6 Against Dolphins

Aaron Rodgers walked off Sunday's loss to the Redskins with a concussion and Packers head coach Mike McCarthy acknowledged on Monday that it may keep him out in Week 6 against the Dolphins. He also confirmed it would cost him practice time this week, at the minimum.

Rodgers didn’t miss any playing time because the concussion came on the Packers final offensive play (interception) in overtime.

The NFL has placed a heavy emphasis on concussions this year. This year already Eagles QB Kevin Kolb missed a game due to a concussion as did Bears QB Jay Cutler.

Rodgers will have to pass multiple concussion tests throughout the week.
