The Cleveland Browns have three quarterbacks but only one of them is healthy.
Colt McCoy Becomes The Man In Cleveland After Seneca Wallace Goes Down
QB Jake Delhomme has been out the last month with an ankle sprain and re-injured that ankle over the weekend. His backup, Seneca Wallace, went down this weekend with a high ankle sprain himself.
That leaves Colt McCoy as the only healthy quarterback remaining in Cleveland.
The Browns will likely be in the market for a veteran backup to get through the week should Wallace and Delhomme be unable to go .
The Browns play the Steelers in Week 6 and SB Nation's Dawgs By Nature doesn't sound too confident in the Browns QB situation.
He has not had much, if any, practice time with the first-team offense. He was playing behind an atrocious offensive line in the preseason, but it still stood out that he didn’t look very comfortable with a lot of his throws, especially on deep passes. If McCoy can only work in short passes that barely go beyond the line of scrimmage, Pittsburgh is going to feast on him.
