Colt McCoy’s First NFL Start Will Come Against The Steelers

Browns QB Colt McCoy will get his first NFL start of his career on Sunday against the Steelers.

That's been the rumor all week after both Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace went down with ankle injuries.

Here’s head coach Eric Mangini on the decision:

“He seemed really comfortable,” Browns head coach Eric Mangini said. “He seemed really comfortable behind center and he seemed really comfortable in that role. He broke the team down yesterday which was the first time he has done that but that’s probably what he was used to doing for years and years being in that role and he just fell back into that role.”

Of all the teams to face in your first NFL start....the Steelers. They’re one of the best defenses in the game and I imagine they’ll make McCoy pay for any rookie mistakes.
