Thursday Night Football is back. The Falcons will host the Baltimore Ravens in Atlanta which features a matchup of two of the NFL's best teams. The Falcons and Ravens are tied with several others for the best record in the NFL so NFL Network is lucky the Thursday Night Football premiere is one of the league's best possible matchups.
Thursday Night Football: Ravens Vs. Falcons On NFL Network Starts Week 10 Early
The Falcons walk into the game sporting one of the league's most balances offenses. From Matt Ryan to Roddy White to Michael Turner, the Falcons are a force to be reckoned with on offense. The 6-2 Falcons are 10th in points scored, 11th in passing yards and sixth in rushing yards. Their defense is sixth against the run so it will be a nice matchup against the Ravens offense.
The 6-2 Ravens enter the game having won five of their last six games including two in a row over the Dolphins and Bills. Offensively the Ravens will want to run the ball as only three teams rush the ball more than them. They're dangerous against the pass as well with guys like Anquan Boldin at receiver. Defensively the Ravens are, well, the Ravens. They're always solid on defense and that continues this year as they're the sixth in points allowed.
On the injury front, the Ravens will have everyone except S Tom Zbikowski while the Falcons have three players listed as questionable, including WR Roddy White, but he’s expected to play.
