The Ravens travel to Atlanta to play the Falcons on the Thursday Night Football premiere.
Ravens Vs. Falcons: Roddy White Drops Ball On Critical 3rd Down
On a 3rd and 4 near midfield, the Falcons had a chance to burn more of the 3:24 remaining on the clock with a first down. It looks like they had called the right play when Matt Ryan threw it to an open Roddy White on an out route. However, though the pass hit the receiver in his outstretched hands, White couldn’t pull it in.
The Falcons were forced to the Ravens with more than three minutes on the clock and all three of the Baltimore timeouts remaining. If the Ravens should complete the comeback, it should roil no one worse the Roddy White, whose 10 catch, 90 yard performance would be overshadowed by the drop. It is the third time this season White has 10 or mote catches in a game.
