Ravens Vs. Falcons: Atlanta Marches 91 Yards For Game’s First Score

The Ravens and Falcons spent the opening quarter driving to near midfield before booting the ball away to the opposition. The second frame opened with an exception. A protracted exception, but an exception.

The Falcons plodded unstoppably down the field on a 14-play, 91-yard drive that ended with a Matt Ryan dumpoff pass to Jason Snelling that went for a 26-yard touchdown. Ravens safety Dawan Landry had a chance to stop Snelling inside the five, but Snelling plowed over him into the end zone.

On a key 3rd and 5 from the Ravens’ 38, Matt Ryan hit Tony Gonzalez hit 14 yards and a key first down. Ed Reed had tried to undercut the route but was much too slow in his execution.
