Matchup: Baltimore Ravens vs. Atlanta Falcons
NFL Picks, Week 10: Baltimore Ravens Vs. Atlanta Falcons
Breakdown: This may be the game of the week as the 6-2 Falcons take on the 6-2 Ravens. The Falcons are one of the league's most balanced offenses, as are the Ravens, so this figures to be a tight game. The Falcons will want to run the ball -- they're fourth in the NFL in rushing attempts -- while the Ravens defense is, as usual, very good at stopping the run. Offensively, the Ravens, like the Falcons, are balanced and can run it with guys like Ray Rice or drop back to pass and find receivers like Anquan Boldin. There's no easy fix to stopping either of these offenses and the defenses aren't shabby in their own right.
Player to Watch: WR Roddy White. He's entering the game officially listed as questionable but he's expected to play. White is playing like a top five wideout right now and he may need another big game to take down the Ravens. If White isn't quite 100 percent, he can open up the offense for others by drawing the attention of the Ravens defense.
Line: Pick.
Prediction: This is a difficult one to predict but I’ll take the home team. The Falcons are solid all around and they’ll beat the Ravens by a field goal.
