Brett Favre Scandal Reignites As Jenn Sterger Meets With NFL

The meeting between Jenn Sterger and the NFL has finally taken place, according to the NY Post. Brett Favre allegedly sent photos and other inappropriate text messages and voice mails to Sterger in 2008 when she was a sideline reporter for the Jets. According to the NY Post, Sterger met with the league's head of security and another league investigator on Thursday along with her lawyer and manager.

"We can confirm that a meeting took place with the NFL today and we cooperated fully by providing them with substantial materials in our possession," Sterger's manager Phil Reese told The Post after the sitdown. "We now await the NFL's decision."
Favre met with league officials last month and, according to reports, admitted to sending her voice mails but denied sending her photos of his penis. The matter now comes down to the league office. They could suspend or fine Favre if they conclude he's done something wrong.

Favre was asked about the allegations at a Vikings press conference last month and neither denied nor confirmed them. The NFL doesn't have a timeline on making a decision.
