NFL Picks Week 11: Chicago Bears Vs. Miami Dolphins

Tyler Thigpen and the Miami Dolphins will host Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football. NFL picks for Week 11 are eyeing the Dolphins as they're a one-point favorite in this game. The Dolphins enter the game at 5-4, two games behind both the New England Patriots and New York Jets. The Bears meanwhile are tied atop the NFC North standings with the 6-3 Green Bay Packers.

The Bears defense is their strong suit and they've done an excellent job of shutting down the run which doesn't bode well for the Dolphins, who are starting their third string quarterback in Tyler Thigpen. The Dolphins, with Brandon Marshall, are a dangerous team in the air but Thigpen isn't a prototypical drop-back passer. He says he's now a pass-first guy but the evidence points to a 54 percent completion percentage. The Bears best chance is to eliminate the run and make Thigpen beat them.

The Bears offense ranks 23rd in the league and they haven’t been especially great at running or passing the ball this year. The Dolphins defense is sixth against the pass so that will be a good matchup against Jay Cutler.

The Dolphins are favored to win this home game by one point but I’ll go with the Bears in this one. The Bears defense will slow the Dolphins running game and I don’t see Tyler Thigpen beating them.
