Buccaneers WR Mike Williams Reportedly Arrested For DUI

Tampa Bay WR Mike Williams is having an excellent rookie season with the Buccaneers but don't expect that to continue the rest of the day. According to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (via Pro Football Talk), Williams was arrested for DUI on Friday morning.

According to the available information, Williams’ breath testing registered a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.065 and 0.061 percent. Urine testing also is being conducted.

He has been released from custory and neither he nor the Bucs have commented on the reported arrest.

It'll be interesting to see how the Bucs handle this. Jerramy Stevens was arrested a few weeks ago and the Bucs quickly released him but Stevens had a long record. Williams on the other hand had a reputation coming out of college after he quit the Syracuse football team but has, as far as we know, been fine in the NFL prior to this incident.

Williams has 40 receptions for 627 yards and five touchdowns.
