NFL Week 9 Fantasy Football Injury News: Matt Hasselbeck and Chris Wells’ Odd Injury
The oddest injury of the week has to be to Cardinal’s RB Beanie Wells, who had an allergic reaction to a lubricant that was injected into his knee. They inject lubricant into knees? Insert your “tin man” jokes here. He’s currently listed as questionable, but told reporters that he will play this weekend.
There's lots of problems with Vikings WR Percy Harvin. For one, he's listed as questionable with a sprained ankle. It should be noted though that he suffered the injury early in last week's game and still continued playing and was productive. He also reportedly had a heated argument with Vikings coach Brad Childress, who apparently questioned his effort during Friday's practice. Will there be any disciplinary effect from that? So far, it doesn't seem so.
Buffalo will be without starting LB Andra Davis, who tore a labrum, will that help the Bears feeble running game?
This game is all about who is returning for the Eagles. They'll be getting back fantasy stars Michael Vick & DeSean Jackson as well pro bowl LT Jason Peters, just in time to face another pro bowler in Dwight Freeney.

No Fred Taylor again this week for the Pats. Deion Branch is considered questionable.
Still no Pierre Thomas or Reggie Bush for the Saints, but nothing new for them.
For the Panthers, RB DeAngelo Williams is doubtful with a foot injury
Matt Hasslbeck will not be able to go for Seattle, neither will WR Golden Tate. That means Charlie Whitehurst starts at QB and he will have WR Mike Williams ready to go this week.
No fantasy injuries of note
Nate Kaeding is still out for San Diego while WR Malcom Floyd and TE Antonio Gates are both questionable.
TE Owen Daniels is questionable for the Texans, but he's been almost all year.
There's two beat up fullbacks in this game. Atlanta's Ovie Mughelli is questionable and Tampa's Earnest Graham is out.
