No. 9 Oklahoma Vs. Texas A&M: Sooners Struggling In College Station
Oklahoma, considered the shoo-in winner of the Big 12 South, is struggling mightily with Texas A&M. The Aggies raced out to a 19-0 lead, and have held onto it: the score is now 26-17 in A&M’s favor in the fourth quarter.
The Aggies have shut down the Oklahoma running game and limited Landry Jones through the air. DeMarco Murray has just 64 yards on 20 carries, and Jones is just 24 of 41 through the air.
Texas A&M's been very successful running the ball so far. The Aggies are averaging 4.5 yards per carry, and Cyrus Gray has topped the century mark. Kick returner Coryell Judie has also gotten in on the action, returning the kickoff to start the second half for 100 yards and a touchdown.
If Oklahoma falls, the Big 12 South leader would be the surprising Oklahoma State Cowboys.
