Monday Night Football, Ravens Vs. Texans: Baltimore Battles To Stay In AFC Playoff Race

The Baltimore Ravens will head to Houston to play the Texans on Monday Night Football. The Ravens are three point favorites as they currently hold the sixth and final playoff spot in the AFC. The Texans are 5-7 on the year and hold slim playoff hopes.

The Ravens have been pretty consistent all year as they haven't lost two games in a row to this point. They're coming off of a Week 13 loss to the Steelers that gave Pittsburgh the lead in the AFC North. At this point, the Ravens are trying to either catch the Steelers and hope they lose or maintain their spot in the wildcard race. If the playoffs started today, the Ravens would be heading to Kansas City to play the Chiefs.

The Texans had a hot start to the season but have been disappointing as of late pretty much ending their playoff hopes. They've lost five of their last six games after starting the season 4-2 and now stand at 5-7. The Texans have a strong offense -- both rushing and passing -- but it's their defense that's been a let down all year. They're among the worst defenses we've seen so Joe Flacco and Co. could have a field day through the air.

The Ravens are three point favorites and we can expect to take this victory. They’re the better team and are playing for more.
