↵Did you know that some paired skaters at the Olympics are actually related? Four of the 23 pairs competing in the Vancouver Games, in fact. I know, crazy, right? The dancing is so sensual! One of the songs is even called “Tango Romantica”! How can they not fall prey to the grace of the motion and the inherent passion of the interplay with their partner?

↵My offhand guess: because it’s something that’s been laboriously practiced for years and years. That and they’re not 8-year-olds who will lose their mind if they are asked to dance with their sibling.

↵But this is America, where any physical contact is equated with sexy, so journalists, even supposedly serious ones, will ask related paired skaters such as Israel’s Alexandra and Roman Zaretsky how they do it.
