Jaguars Fans Want Tebow, Are Willing to Wear Shirts to Prove It

Even those who doubt that Tim Tebow will be a useful player in the NFL, quarterback or otherwise, acknowledge that one of the few ways the team could galvanize its fan base would involve the former Heisman Trophy winner playing for the hometown Jacksonville Jaguars. Lending credence to that notion is a fan’s web site created to lobby for the team to draft Tebow.↵↵The site, draft15.com, includes a petition aimed at the Jaguars management and coaching staff. That’s delightfully quaint, considering the highway billboard has been the exhorting method of choice for NFL fans in recent years. The site also features selected quotes from football analysts and figures in praise of His Worship, Tim Tebow. Of course, there’s also a T-shirt for sale, which bears the slogan “...if you draft him, we will come.”↵

↵↵I greatly anticipate the follow-up shirt reading, “Well, you drafted him and we came. Then the novelty wore off and he wasn’t very good, so we stopped coming.” Not sure if that’s concise enough for a shirt, but I’ll check with the printers.↵
