The Ottawa Senators may have upset the defending Stanley Cup champions in Wednesday's Game 1, but their chances of actually winning the series are now greatly in jeopardy.
Sens’ Chances Now Considerably Lower: Milan Michalek Tears ACL, Out For Year
Winger Milan Michalek is out for the year with a torn ACL, according to CBC's Elliotte Friedman. In eight career against the Sens' first round opponent Pittsburgh, Michalek tallied six points. He's a vitally important part of the Ottawa attack, especially since the third liners can't be expected to carry the load throughout the postseason as they did in Game 1.
