While the Predators won Game One 4-1, both teams had issues with one thing after the game, ice conditions.
Both Predators And Blackhawks Complain About Condition Of Ice
“The way the ice was, the puck was bouncing all over,” Predators center Jason Arnott said. “It was one of those freaky goals that went in, but we’ll take it.”
“The beginning it was good, the first five minutes, but after that it got really chippy,” Hossa said. “But it’s the same for both teams.”
The United Center had the Harlem Globetrotters on Thursday night, so the short turnaround may have affected ice conditions. That being said, nothing planned there on Saturday so ice conditions should be better for Game Two.
