15 days after getting pulled from a game against the Rays and leaving the stadium, Milton Bradley has been activated from the restricted list:
After Two Weeks, Milton Bradley Returns From Restricted List
The Mariners haven't made an official announcement yet, but Milton Bradley is taking early batting practice with the team at this moment. That means he's coming off the restricted list, which had prevented him from any on-field activities with the team.
The Mariners, as a team, have gone just 3-10 in Bradley’s absence, having clearly missed his bat in the lineup. But this is about more than baseball, as Bradley has been receiving counseling for some personal issues during his time away from the clubhouse. Says Milton:
"I don't have all the answers. I'm not saying I'm cured, but I'm working ever so hard. I'm committed to the process."
There’s no word yet on the corresponding roster move to make room for Bradley. He is in the Wednesday lineup, playing left and batting sixth.
