K.J. Noons And Charles Bennett To Rematch At Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Werdum
K.J. Noons will get the opportunity to avenge one of his two career defeats when he meets Charles “Krazy Horse” Bennett in a featured lightweight bout at Strikeforce “Fedor vs. Werdum” on June 26 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif.
Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker confirmed the rematch with Sherdog.com on Wednesday.
Noons should enter the fight as a significant favorite. Bennett only possesses a danger on the feet, where Noons is much, much better technically. In their first meeting K.J. left himself open and paid for it. Since then he has shored up his defense and become an even better technical striker.
The June 26 card is shaping up to be a very solid event and could be the event of the year for the Strikeforce promotion.
