According to multiple sources, the second technical foul called on Kendrick Perkins’ in Wednesday night’s Game 5 has been rescinded by the NBA. Perkins’ postseason technical foul count now rests at six, one away from the league mandated one game suspension; meaning he will be available for Friday night’s Game 6.

The league also upgraded a personal foul called on Paul Pierce with 8:12 left in the game to a flagrant 1 foul. Pierce went to contest a shot by Magic shooting guard J.J. Redick, and shoved him while he fell to the ground.
