That's the word from Alyson Footer. Norris left his most recent outing last Sunday complaining of shoulder soreness, and after meeting with a specialist, he's received the aforementioned diagnosis. It's a tough break for the Astros; not because Norris is a key cog to their success, but because he's a 25 year old starting pitcher with 108 strikeouts in 99.1 Major League innings, and so the organization doesn't want to see any delays to his development. On a team with precious few talented young players, Norris and his mid-90s fastball offer some level of hope for the future.
