Vikings DT Kevin Williams was among a few NFL players implicated in the StarCaps case and the league has announced he will be suspended the first two games of the season.
Kevin Williams Suspended Two Games For StarCaps Case
That final resolution came down earlier this summer and Kevin Williams has now been suspended. Others, like his teammate Pat Williams and New Orleans Saints DT Will Smith, were also involved but no news has come down on their suspensions.

Saints defensive end Will Smith was implicated in the StarCaps scandal that broke in 2008, and may finally be forced to pay his penance: Saints coach Sean Payton told the New Orleans Times-Picayune that he believes Smith will have to sit out four games in 2011 as a result of that investigation.
Smith was one of a handful of players who tested positive for a banned substance that was in a dietary substance that was not banned in 2008. In early 2011, after a lengthy legal battle that lasted more than two years, courts upheld suspensions handed down to Smith, Minnesota Vikings Kevin Williams and Pat Williams, and others.

The lawyer for Vikings defensive tackles Pat and Kevin Williams issued a statement on Thursday after a judge ruled their four-game suspension by the league will be upheld.

The players have scheduled a court hearing at 2:00 PM on Thursday to appeal the ruling. They will also ask that they be allowed to play during the appeal.
The players reportedly took a diuretic that did not have the banned substance listed as an ingredient. The NFL’s rules indicate a suspension but the players argue that Bumenatide was not listed as an ingredient therefore they did not know they were violating the rules.
