Robinson Cano Leaves Game Early With Knee Injury

Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano left Friday's game early after he was hit in the left knee by a Josh Beckett pitch in the sixth inning.

Cano tried to stay in the game, but was lifted for a pinch-runner shortly after.

Cano was 0 for 2 with two strikeouts before being hit by the pitch. Cano has arguably been the Yankees’ best offensive player this season, hitting .362 with 9 home runs.
