Posada should be back in the lineup tomorrow for the Yankees.

Posada was initially projected to miss 3-4 weeks, but if he returns tomorrow, it will have been barely two weeks since he last played against Minnesota. The only thing holding him back from a return at this point is that Joe Girardi wants to see him run one more time.

In Posada’s absence, Francisco Cervelli got nearly all of the playing time behind the plate, batting .227.
