What Might Have Been: Ndamukong Suh At Oregon State?

The bulk of Mike Riley’s interview with Bruce Feldman is hidden behind the In$ider paywall, but this one tidbit is too good not to be shared, a what-if of terrifying proportions (in more ways than one):

↵Did you know that [Oregon native] Ndamukong Suh almost transferred to Oregon State back at the time when he was thinking about it? From our side of it, we’d never heard about it. Then I thought, “What if we would’ve had Stephen Paea and Ndamukong Suh next to each other?” We wouldn’t have had to rush more than two guys.
↵Colt McCoy’s traumatized bone marrow thinks that would’ve been just fine.
The rest of the interview includes some great anecdotes about Riley’s on-field years at Alabama during the first years of team integration; read it here.
