Vincent Jackson Insurance? Don’t Count On Terrell Owens

On Thursday Pro Football Talk floated the possibility that the Chargers won’t be taking Vincent Jackson’s reported holdout seriously until they sign Terrell Owens as insurance. The comment was made in half-jest but PFT later reported that there’s nothing happening between the two sides.

Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune has come in and effectively squashed any thoughts of that happening.

I didn't think it needed to be addressed. Terrell Owens will not be a Charger. End of story.

If GM A.J. Smith isn’t willing to play games with Vincent Jackson and Marcus McNeill, I have a hard time believing he’d sign T.O.
