World Cup 2010: Slovakia 1, New Zealand 0 - Robert Vittek Heads Slovaks In Front

Slovakia has finally broken through New Zealand, with forward Robert Vittek heading home a goal which, on replay, looked possibly offside.

Stanislav Sestak’s cross from the right flank found Robert Vittek near the spot, the result header beating Mark Paston at hie far post. Vittek, however, looked to be slightly behind the last man, Winston Reid, when the ball was played.

Sestak’s cross came after strong build-up between him and right wing Vladimir Weiss, who continues his strong performance.
