Doctors Reportedly Tell Smith Steve Smith He’ll Be Out 10 Weeks After Fracturing Arm

Initial reports on the timetable for Steve Smith’s return to the field after fracturing his arm indicated he wouldn’t miss the start of the regular season.

Doctors confirmed that to Smith today indicating he should be out for 10 weeks, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

It sounds like he’ll miss all of training camp. The regular season opener is 12 weeks away so it’s conceivable Smith could make an appearance in the preseason.
