Travelers Championship: Justin Rose Leads At Conclusion Of Second Round; Kevin Sutherland In Second

There wasn’t much movement in the second half of the day of the second round at the Travelers Championship. The day finished with Justin Rose atop the leaderboard at 14-under after shooting a field best 8-under 62 on Friday. American Kevin Suntherland claimed sole possession of second place going into the weekend with a 10-under for the tournament after shooting a pair of 5-under 65s in the first two rounds. Four golfers, including Vijay Singh and first round co-leader Charlie Wi, are tied for third at 9-under. Irishman Padraig Harrington, who led along with Wi and Matthew Goggin after the first round, shot a 1-over 71 on the day to finish at 5-under and tied for 23rd place.

The cut will be set at 2-under. Among those that did not make it into the weekend: the pride of the PGA Tour, John Daly.

The full leaderboard is on the PGA’s official website.
