Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Raul Ibanez ignited a three-run 10th inning with an RBI double off Arthur Rhodes -- ending the southpaw's 33-appearance scoreless streak -- as the Philadelphia Phillies took down the Cincinnati Reds, 9-6, in the middle installment of a three-game set at Great American Ball Park.

Brian Schneider and Wilson Valdez each hit three-run homers for the Phillies, who bounced back from a 7-3 loss in the series opener and have won six of eight overall. Valdez drove in a career-high four runs, while Schneider had three hits and scored twice for the victors.
Joe Blanton lasted 7 2/3 innings in the start, allowing three runs on eight hits. Brad Lidge (1-0) got the win despite giving up three runs in the ninth. J.C. Romero recorded his third save of the year.
Joey Votto hit a three-run homer in the ninth to tie the game for the Reds, who had won six of seven coming into Tuesday's game. Ramon Hernandez knocked in two runs.
Mike Leake, the eighth overall pick of the 2009 draft, gave up a season- high six runs on seven hits in a six-inning start. He also fanned four batters and walked two. Rhodes (2-2) was charged with all three runs in the 10th to take the loss.
Rhodes, who hadn't allowed a run since April 10, took over on the mound for the Reds in the 10th. Ryan Howard doubled and Jayson Werth walked to get things started. Ibanez then laced a ball to right-center field, which Drew Stubbs bobbled at the wall and eventually dropped. Howard crossed the plate on the play to give Philadelphia the lead.
Pinch-hitter Ben Francisco followed with an RBI single. Nick Masset then came in from the bullpen. Valdez reached base on a perfect bunt down the first-base line. Ibanez scored on the play to make it 9-6.
Romero tossed a perfect home 10th to seal the victory.
Holding a 6-3 lead, Lidge came on in the bottom of the ninth to close out the game for the Phillies. After quickly retiring the first two batters, Lidge walked Brandon Phillips and gave up a single to Orlando Cabrera. Votto stepped to the plate and blasted a 1-1 slider over the wall in right-center field to tie things up. Jonny Gomes grounded out to send the game into extras.
The Reds got on the board in the first inning. Phillips led off with a triple to right and came around to score on Cabrera's groundout for a 1-0 lead.
Schneider's blast in the second put the Phillies in front. Howard and Werth each walked to start the frame. Schneider stepped to the plate two batters later and crushed the first pitch he saw into the right- field seats for a 3-1 edge.
Philadelphia built a 6-1 margin on Valdez's homer in the fourth. Singles by Werth and Schneider put men on first and second with one out. Valdez then blasted a first-pitch curveball over the wall in left.
Blanton retired 11 straight batters before giving up a two-out single to Miguel Cairo in the sixth. Chris Heisey followed with a walk to put men on first and second. Hernandez then hit a two-run double to cut the gap to 6-3.

Rhodes' 33-appearance scoreless streak ties the MLB single-season record shared by Mark Guthrie (2002 for the Mets) and Mike Myers (2000 for the Rockies). His 30-inning scoreless streak was the longest by a Reds reliever since Ted Abernathy threw 30 scoreless frames in 1967...The Phillies took five of seven from the Reds last season and have won 10 of the last 14 meetings overall...Philadelphia placed second baseman Chase Utley and third baseman Placido Polanco on the 15-day disabled list. The club selected the contract of infielder/outfielder Greg Dobbs and recalled infielder Brian Bocock from Triple-A Lehigh Valley...Votto has reached base safely in 37 straight games, the longest streak in the majors this season and longest by a Red since Pete Rose's 48-game streak in 1978...Phillies Manager Charlie Manuel was ejected in the top of the 10th for arguing balls and strikes.
