Reggie Wayne ‘Accomplished Nothing’ By Holding Out From Colts Minicamp
Reggie Wayne skipped minicamp for the Colts in protest of his displeasure with his contract. Bill Polian has said no new deal is coming for Wayne -- citing the uncertain labor landscape -- and that’s just fine with Colts fans, according to SB Nation’s Stampede Blue.
Stampede Blue has taken a particularly tough stance with Wayne’s holdout. They take a look at Peyton Manning, who’s in a similar situation. Manning is entering the final year of his deal -- and expects to get a new one before the season -- but he’s attended all the Colts practices thus far.

Pro Bowl Colts receiver Reggie Wayne announced that he will skip the team’s upcoming three-day mandatory minicamp this weekend because of a contract dispute.
With two years remaining on his current deal, in which he scheduled to make $5.47 million this coming season and $5.95 million in 2011, Wayne wants to renegotiate a deal that would make him among the highest paid receivers in the league.
