Ravens right tackle Jared Gaither signed his one-year tender on Monday, according to the Ravens official site. aither had been the subject of quite a bit of speculation in recent weeks. The first week of May, he was moved from left tackle to right tackle. A day later and he mysteriously (or so we thought) injured his foot and wasn’t participating in practice.

This led many to believe that the Ravens were holding him out of practice in order to secure a trade. With Michael Oher moving to the left side, some thought they would ship Gaither out of town -- reportedly for a second round pick.
Of course, the trade never happened. And we learned his foot injury was legitimate.
Gaither returned to practice today for the first time since May 7th, according to his Twitter account.
