Brandon Underwood Case Goes To The D.A. Tuesday, Decision By Friday

The incident involving Packers CB Brandon Underwood and two women who allege he sexually assaulted them will be sent to the district attorney’s office on Tuesday, Lake Delton Police Chief Tom Dorner said, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

After the D.A. reviews the case, they’ll determine if charges will be filed. If they don’t file charges, then the criminal part of this case will be over. If they do decide to file charges, then Underwood’s trouble is just beginning.

The police are still not formally recognizing the suspect as Underwood but multiple outlets have identified him as the person around which the investigation is centering.

Dorner said the investigation was focused on one individual, whom he declined to identify. Dorner acknowledged that Barrett may decline to issue charges based on the available evidence.

“This person is a person of interest,” Dorner said. “He admitted to sexual contact and activity. The women said it was a sexual assault; he says it was consensual.”

For now, we wait. Until Friday at least.
