And Then There Were None: Russell Okung Becomes Final First Round Draft Pick To Sign

On Friday morning, ninth overall pick C.J. Spiller agreed to terms with the Bills leaving just Russell Okung left to sign.

According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, Okung and the Seahawks have agreed on a six-year contract.

And then there was one.

C.J. Spiller became the second to last first round pick to agree to terms. SB Nation’s Buffalo Rumblings fills us in.

The Lions and first round pick Ndamukong Suh reached an agreement on a five-year contract according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer reports it’s worth a maximum of 68$ million with $40 million guaranteed.

For a nice change of pace, the Bengals have come to terms with their first-round pick without a lengthy holdout. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Cincinnati and first-rounder Jermaine Gresham have agreed on a five-year deal. The Cincinnati Enquirer’s Joe Reedy reports that the deal is worth up to $18.5 million, with $9.6 million guaranteed.

The 21st overall pick in the 2010 Draft, Gresham figures to start immediately for the tight end-needy Bengals. Gresham was widely regarded as a potential top-ten pick out of Oklahoma, before his season was derailed after tearing cartilage in his knee.

The Jaguars announced on Sunday that they had agreed to terms with 10th overall pick Tyson Alualu.

One problem with that announcement: Alualu hadn’t agreed at that point.

Sam Bradford, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, was signed by the St. Louis Rams on Friday night. Jay Glazer tweets:

This is an absolutely mammoth deal that dwarfs the deals signed by other first-round picks.

Anthony Davis and Mike Iupati are officially San Francisco 49ers. The pair of first-rounders, who figure to anchor the Niners’ offensive line for years to come, both came to terms with the team on Friday on five-year deals.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Davis’ deal was for five-years and $26.5 million, with $15.954 guaranteed, while the terms of Iupati’s five-year deal have not yet been reported. Davis, a tackle out of Rutgers, and Iupati, a guard out of Idaho, were two of the top-rated offensive linemen in the past draft.

Just in time for the beginning of training camp, the Kansas City Chiefs have come to terms with first-round pick Eric Berry on a five-year deal, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. And they are quite generous terms indeed. According to NFL Network’s Jason LaConfora, Berry received a contract worth up to $60 million over six years, with $34 million guaranteed; it makes Berry the highest-paid safety in league history.

Berry was widely considered perhaps the top talent in last year’s draft, but given that safety is not a priority position for most teams, he “slipped” down to the fifth spot, where the Chiefs gleefully snatched him up. His dynamic ballhawking skills figure to inject a dose of playmaking into a Chiefs defense that has been sorely lacking in that department the past few seasons.

The Packers have come to terms with their first-round pick, offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Bulaga’s signing is just in time for the beginning of training camp, which kicks off on Saturday July 31st. Bulaga was taken with the 23rd overall pick in the NFL Draft. His signing should help fortify what was an oftentimes porous Green Bay offensive line last season that struggled to protect quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The Redskins signed their future left tackle to a six year deal early Friday morning.

As the Super Bowl winners, the Saints selected last in the 2010 NFL draft.

Right before training camp, they’ve got their pick coming to camp.

Kareem Jackson is now a Texan.

The cornerback agreed to terms with the Houston Texans just in the nick of time. The team starts training camp today.

The Eagles have agreed to a five-year contract with the team’s first-round pick, Michigan defensive end Brandon Graham, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Graham was taken with the 13th overall selection in the draft. The Eagles have now come to terms with all of their draft picks. Graham is expected to report when Eagles camp opens on Friday.

Tim Tebow is officially in the NFL.

The Broncos on Thursday agreed to terms on a five-year, $33 million contract, according to Michael Lombardi of NFL Network. Other reports are characterizing it as an $11.25 deal but the $33 million number is the maximum worth.

The Falcons have signed all seven of their 2010 NFL draft picks.

The last to sign was former Mizzou LB Sean Weatherspoon, who agreed to a five-year deal on Thursday.

The Dolphins have their first round pick under contract.

Multiple outlets are reporting that the Dolphins and former Penn State DE Jared Odrick have agreed to a contract.

The Raiders are the first team to get a top ten pick under contract.

The Raiders announced that LB Rolando McClain is signed, sealed and delivered prior to the club’s training camp.

The Patriots now have all 12 draft picks under contract. On Tuesday, the club signed first round pick Devin McCourty.

The 27th overall pick, McCourty is expected to see time early, according to SB Nation’s Pats Pulpit.
