2010 NFL Draft Pick Signings: Russell Okung, Seahawks Agree On Six-Year Deal
On Friday morning, ninth overall pick C.J. Spiller agreed to terms with the Bills leaving just Russell Okung left to sign.
According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, Okung and the Seahawks have agreed on a six-year contract.

For a nice change of pace, the Bengals have come to terms with their first-round pick without a lengthy holdout. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Cincinnati and first-rounder Jermaine Gresham have agreed on a five-year deal. The Cincinnati Enquirer’s Joe Reedy reports that the deal is worth up to $18.5 million, with $9.6 million guaranteed.
The 21st overall pick in the 2010 Draft, Gresham figures to start immediately for the tight end-needy Bengals. Gresham was widely regarded as a potential top-ten pick out of Oklahoma, before his season was derailed after tearing cartilage in his knee.

Anthony Davis and Mike Iupati are officially San Francisco 49ers. The pair of first-rounders, who figure to anchor the Niners’ offensive line for years to come, both came to terms with the team on Friday on five-year deals.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Davis’ deal was for five-years and $26.5 million, with $15.954 guaranteed, while the terms of Iupati’s five-year deal have not yet been reported. Davis, a tackle out of Rutgers, and Iupati, a guard out of Idaho, were two of the top-rated offensive linemen in the past draft.

Just in time for the beginning of training camp, the Kansas City Chiefs have come to terms with first-round pick Eric Berry on a five-year deal, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. And they are quite generous terms indeed. According to NFL Network’s Jason LaConfora, Berry received a contract worth up to $60 million over six years, with $34 million guaranteed; it makes Berry the highest-paid safety in league history.
Berry was widely considered perhaps the top talent in last year’s draft, but given that safety is not a priority position for most teams, he “slipped” down to the fifth spot, where the Chiefs gleefully snatched him up. His dynamic ballhawking skills figure to inject a dose of playmaking into a Chiefs defense that has been sorely lacking in that department the past few seasons.

His signing should help fortify what was an oftentimes porous Green Bay offensive line last season that struggled to protect quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
