Vikings WR Percy Harvin is once again suffering from migraines causing him to miss practice.
Percy Harvin Returns To Vikings Practice
Tom Pelissero of 1500 ESPN reports Harvin returned to practice on Thursday.
He was working in individual and group drills.

Vikings WR Percy Harvin has had migraines cause problems for him since he entered the NFL. Last year it caused him to miss one game and during training camp this year he missed several weeks with what was partially attributed to migraines.
It sounds like the migraines are back as Brad Childress told reporters Harvin missed practice due to another migraine.

In a scary moment at the Vikings facilities last week, WR Percy Harvin collapsed during training camp practice. Trainers tended to him and he was eventually taken in an ambulance to the hospital.
After the incident, Vikings coach Brad Childress talked about migraines being one of the problems, something Harvin’s struggled with for years. According to Vikings head athletic trainer Eric Sugarman, the collapse wasn’t directly related to migraines.

Vikings coach Brad Childress confirmed that Percy Harvin collapsed on the field Thursday afternoon due to migraines.
Apparently it started when Harvin looked into the sky during special teams drill. Somehow, that triggered the episode, Childress says.

Percy Harvin has been missing Vikings training camp since July 31.
He originally left because of the death of his grandmother and then reports later surfaced he was gone because of recurring migraine headaches.

On the last day of July Vikings WR Percy Harvin left the team to be with his family after the death of his grandmother. He hasn’t returned since then but reports have indicated that migraines are once again part of the issue.
Harvin himself hasn’t confirmed or denied reports that migraines have kept him out of training camp but the Vikings recently placed him on the “reserve/left squad” list, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

In 2007, Childress came under criticism because he fined WR Troy Williamson a game check for missing a week’s worth of work while dealing with the death of his grandmother. He later changed his mind and didn’t fine him but clearly Childress understands he doesn’t want a repeat of that incident.
It’s also believed, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, that Harvin is once again dealing with migraine headaches. They were a problem at times last year causing him to miss practice at times.
