The San Francisco 49ers on Monday traded disgruntled defensive lineman Kentwan Balmer to the Seattle Seahawks.

According to Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com, the 49ers will receive a sixth round pick in return.

For the 49ers, that’s quite the diminishing value. In 2008, they spent the 29th overall pick in the draft on him.

He never panned out for them and never even started a game in two seasons.
