Giants QB Eli Manning Ruled Out For Steelers Game After Head Injury

Giants QB Eli Manning has been ruled out for this weekend’s preseason game against the Steelers, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

Manning suffered a gash on his forehead on Monday Night Football against the Jets this week. He’s been to the hospital for a “battery of tests” and everything has checked out.

He doesn’t have any pain (other than a bad haircut) and isn’t expected to miss much time. This is likely more precautionary than anything.

He said hours after the injury that he felt he could go back in and play at that moment if he had to. But, it’s just preseason, and he doesn’t have to so he won’t.

Here is a video of the Eli Manning injury.
