Dolphins Trade WR Greg Camarillo To The Vikings

Brett Favre has a new receiver on the Minnesota Vikings.

Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald reports the Miami Dolphins have traded WR Greg Camarillo to the Vikings.

The details of the trade aren’t known but Camarillo has confirmed the move to Darlington:

WR Greg Camarillo just texted me, as well. "I'm headed out of town this afternoon," he says. "Crazy." Yes, indeed. Very crazy.

Text from Greg Camarillo, Brett Favre's newest WR: "Mixed emotions. Great opportunity, but this is home. These teammates are my brothers."

Camarillo, 28, was originally an undrafted free agent. He played for the Chargers for two years before moving onto the Dolphins.

His most notable NFL moment came last in the 2007 season when he caught a 64-yard touchdown pass against the Baltimore Ravens. That play won them the game which happened to be their only win in the 2007 season.

In the last week, the Vikings have seen WR Percy Harvin collapse on the field and WR Sidney Rice have hip surgery. In response, they’ve signed WR Javon Walker and now Camarillo
